PAWLING — An Appalachian Trail hiker was arrested Tuesday after police say he stole numerous food items from the town’s recreation center, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. 

Aaron N. King, 22, of Pennsylvania, was charged with third-degree burglary, a felony, and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.
