At the July 20th Village Board Meeting “Progress for Pawling” Organizer Dolores Ragsdale will also present an update on our visit to Phoenix House on June 5th. Phoenix House is a treatment facility for adolescents with drug & alcohol addiction problems in Shrub Oak (Westchester County).

On June 5th, Dolores Ragsdale, Village Mayor Rob Liffland, Village Judge Rob Apple, Nancy Hoving (Phoenix House Trustee and Pawling resident) and me (Bob Eichinger) had a tour, luncheon and opportunity to learn from Phoenix House VP Finn Kavanaugh the programs available from Phoenix House.

Holmes & Pawling Neighborhood Watch Steering Committee Invites You to Attend A Community Information Meeting at Holmes Civic Center – Route 292 on March 31, 2009 @ 7:00 PM

Please Join Us and Volunteer to Help Keep Holmes & Pawling Safer:

We are looking for interested Holmes & Pawling Community Members who want to help prevent and reduce crime in our Community. Please share any concerns, issues and questions via email with us at hpneighborhoodwatch@gmail.com.

What Is Neighborhood Watch?

The National Sheriffs’ Association created the Neighborhood Watch Program in 1972. The goal was to unite law enforcement agencies, private organizations and individual citizens to reduce residential crime.

Why was the Holmes & Pawling Neighborhood Watch Community Started?

“To build a network of concerned Holmes & Pawling Community Members to help reduce and prevent crime through coordinated communications and actions within the Neighborhood Watch Program Guidelines”.

How Do We Work with Local Law Enforcement?

Holmes & Pawling Neighborhood Watch is fortunate to have Dutchess County Deputy Sherriff T. J. Hanlon as our Professional Law Enforcement Advisor.

The only job of all Holmes & Pawling Community Neighborhood Watch Members is to report crime or suspicious activities to the Dutchess County Sherriff’s Department at #845-486-3800 or NYS State Police Troop K HQ at #845-677-7300 . Law Enforcement will question any suspicious person(s) and when appropriate make arrests.

Have Questions or Comments? Email us at hpneighborhoodwatch@gmail.com.
