Law enforcement authorities are advising residents
to beware of scam artists who may be trying to cash

On early Sunday morning (02.20)  at approximately 4:30 AM, a HPNW member in Holmes heard a loud bang and then heard a vehicle drive away from in front of his house. HOPEWELL JUNCTION — The day after Thanksgiving,
two men selling frozen meat from a refrigerated
truck solicited a 91-year-old woman at her
Hopewell Junction home.

The woman made a $35 purchase, but soon after
discovered the meat company billed her credit card
$600.
