Police arrest youth in Pawling car vandalism investigation
PAWLING — The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office announced today that an arrest has been made in connection to the car vandalisms that took place Sunday night in Pawling, Union Vale, Putnam County and Connecticut.
The suspect, a juvenile male, was arrested and given an appearance ticket to appear in Dutchess County Family Court. Deputies did not release his name.
Police believe the suspect was one of a group of youths who damaged car windows Sunday night. The vandals damaged 25 vehicles in Pawling and Union Vale along with additional vehicles in Putnam County and Connecticut.
The matter remains under investigation and additional arrests are pending.
